Decorate the Church

On Sunday, Nov. 24, following the morning worship service, we will prepare the church for Christmas. Plan to stay and hang a wreath, decorate the Chrismon tree, place candles in the windows, and add special touches of Christmas throughout the building.

We will be collecting new or gently used coats and jackets for children for the Klothes4Kids ministry as our Mission Action Project for the month.

Outreach Opportunity

On the Third Tuesday of each month, College Park is helping God's Storehouse by volunteering.  Executive Director Karen Harris has asked for volunteers to assist with the:

 Warehouse

•           2-3 volunteers that can help sort produce, breads and desserts  9:30am - 11:30am (note: we never know how much or how little we will get)
•           1 volunteer to tape boxes (Jimmie or Steve Fitts can show them what to do) 9:30am to 12 noon,
•           1 volunteer to stock shelves 10:15 to 12
•           1 volunteer to tape boxes 12 noon until 2:30pm

         One Stop Shop

•           1 volunteer to work One Stop Shop 10:15 to 12
•           1 volunteer to work One Stop Shop 12 to 2:30pm

         Food Distribution

•           3 people to work in food distribution from 12 to 2:30pm.
•           1 person 12-2:30pm to help bring carts back in from parking lot.

If you or someone you know is available to volunteer on November 19, please contact Martha Walker.  Every pair of hands contributes to the service provided by God's Storehouse to those who need food.
